Daniel E. Finnegan

Daniel E. “Dan” Finnegan, 73, a lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away on Saturday, April 13,2024 at the Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon. He was born on March 4, 1951 to parents Gerald and Marie (nee: Kutz) Finnegan. Dan worked for LAZ Parking as an account manager for many years. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and a “Son of a Son of a Sailor, and yes, he was a Pirate!” Dan was a former member of Elyria Elks #465 and the United Polish Club in Elyria. Survivors include his wife, Becky (nee: Warriner); sons, Ryan (Drew) Johnston, Brett; sister, Mary Ann Finnegan and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Finnegan. As well as a Father and “Gampie” to many others. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 PM – 5 PM at the Avon Brewing Company, 37040 Detroit Road in Avon. Burial will be private.
